Getting all stuff together for servicing disco td5 tomorrow.......
Saints - Asda, popped in there for me christmas cards before I went to halfords for oil. Clocked castrol magnatec 5W30A1 on the shelf, 4 ltr for 28 quid. Two of these please. Saving of about 6 quid had I bought same items over at halfords.
Sinners- An online seller that shall remain un-named until I receive their response to my snotty email. Listed OEM filter service kit, picturing and describe items such as coopers and mahle filters. Opened the box today and guess what.....all BRITPART. Now I know some folks like them but I dont. I wont name company yet because it may be a genuine mistake.

I have to go lr dealers tomorrow morning to pick up MTF94 so probably have to buy genuine filters too so that I can do my service and water pump renewal over weekend. Anyone had similar experiences? Am I wrong to be hacked off with yet another apparent ebay fraudster?

 To be honest I dont usually do oil change, just get it done at garage but goin to take off oil filters to change water pump. It is usually a lot cheaper there due to garage buyin oil in bulk obviously. Where you buying the oil then? Are the ones you using same spec, 5W30A1 " as recommended? Flickin thu my old receipts, most mention castrol magnatecan jobl was about 40 quid a time but filters they use look ****e. I was aware I was probably slashin a bit on the oil but its my christmas present to my disco :D Any thoughts on britpart filters?

How about this very interesting invoice....why would you send this with bripart filters? This lists the items I expected to receive.

Lol, I really did. Supplier called today to admit they sent wrong items and OEM ones will be delivered next week. It looked all sus because invoice gave the britpart numbers but oem descriptions. All britpart boxes were marked as "same as.....list of oem part numbers". Now excuse me while I get out of my pram and pick up all my toys.

I was really jammy on this one fellas, I ordered 3L from my local lr dealer yesterday which I was to pick uptoday. They hadnt had them delivered today so I was offered a 5L of lr MTF94 for 24 quid. Just goes go show how its worth checking, I have had loads of good deals from them, always buy the more critical parts from them but think im just goin to go for everything now after my filters experience on ebay.
