Problem with TD5 seats in 200TDI

I've recently bought a 3door 200TDI with a TD5 interior in it. I folded the middle row of seats down the other day (using the red levers, no problems there!) but now can't get them to go back up again. They get to about 1/3 of the way back up and then stop, like the mechanism is stopping them.

Am I missing something obvious here, or is there something more sinister going on?

i had RRC seats in my 200 , they some times you catch when trying to fold back up, not to the level your describing, but some times wouldnt click back into the lock, used to take a bit of persuasion (brute force)
