Hi can anyone help i have just got a 2001 range rover every time i get out the sign sun roof open shows up. i have tried to do the fully open and close but still not sorted it. Also if i tilt the sun roof when i try to close it it goes past the closed position and opens all the way please help.

If you have tried the reset and it doesn't work then there may be a fault on the switch panel on the centre console - a new panel from the stealers is about £150 but you can get less expensive ones with a few months warranty from some used parts dealers - be careful with ebay switch panels as lots of the partly-defective ones land up on there. Its a simple replacement of the switch panel, took me about 10 minutes.

seal it with silicone shut it and pull the wire out.
