Pre Heater - I have a remote!

Hi Everyone
I have just bought a 2011 Range Rover to sit along side my lovely 2004 Defender 110.
The Range Rover is a Vogue SE 2011, diesel 4.4

Now, my question is one which has been has been covered but for the life of me I cannot find the answer.
I have a little remote control which I am told is for a "pre heater". I have replaced the battery and pressed the on button and the green led's flash but nothing happens.

If I have a remote does it mean I do have a pre heater? How can I tell if I have a diesel powered heater or just a fan that runs from the battery?

I am about as technical as a briilo pad so please no long words! ;-)

Yes , you have a pre heater. The receiver is behind the r/h cover in the boot , it will say webasto T91 on it. It could need re syncing with the remote. This is done by pulling out the electrical connector underneath, wait at least 5 seconds then put it back in. Then press the off button on the remote for 3 seconds within a second of reconection.

I have had a look and can see nothing under the r/h cover that says Webasto T91. Is it obvious looking?

Are you looking behind the side panel where The fuse holders live ? It is a black box maybe 4 inch x

X 3 inch it might have telestart T91 on it
