for ur reference I bought a new hazard light switch,
mines a preface lift, 2002 td4
there is indeed a bulb that can be replaced , it's on the side and if u remove the switch the bulb holder can then be seen
it is extremely small
the part number is YUG102220
bought from a company called euro spare uk via ebay
cost me £5
it is a genuine part but not in a Land Rover packet
the new unit does not flash when turned on but it does illuminate when the lights are put on
hope it may help someone and wished to share
