Hello all time for another strange quesion!
I have a 93 200tdi disco and whenever i drive through a deepish puddle my battery light flickers on faintly and my powersteering dissapers!.
From my limited knowledge the electrical thing is just because everything is wet which is fair enough, but the powersteering is run form a pully directly from the engine via the belt and pully system, the engine still runs fine and there is no dip in revs. am i to guess that the belt is just sliping? if it is it's the first belt in history to slip without making a noise!
any ideas?
