The mirror powerfold function on my 2004 Discovery td5 has failed, I have purchased a secondhand ECU but cannot find where the original is fitted. Searches indicate that it should be fitted behind the passenger glove box in the footwell. I have removed the glove box and the side plastic trim just forward of the front door but cannot find the ECU. In desperation I searched the drivers side also, behind the fuse box and the side plastic trim forward of the door but no ECU. Could it be fitted in another location? Has anyone found theirs fitted somewhere other than the normal position?
