My 90 (1994) was parked up for a year when i was away and i now have her back on the road but the power steering is gone, it was fine when i parked her up but day 2 and every time i make a turn it sounds like someone is kicking a pig in the bo*!!cks, its a very loud squeal, i checked the power steering fluid and it is very dirty looking (white-ish pink with bits of orrange in it)
Is it worth my while trying to drain it and seeing if that dose any good or is it more likely a replace job? and do i drain it from the fluid holder or do i drain it from the power steering unit?
on a second thought, im not 100% the squealing is from the power steering..could it be anything else?
