Hi im looking to get my full 90 truckcab rollcage powdercoated i also have challege spec tubular wings. Does anyone roughly no what it would cost me before i just hammerite it?

As far as I know it's quite expensive though I couldn't give you a price. Also I've heard various comments regarding the durability of powder coating. However I personally wouldn't go down the hammerite route either. I would be looking for a good quality durable paint which I'm sure some of the others on here would be able to recommend. On my rebuild I've been using 2k but I wouldn't use it unless you've got full air fed masks etc.

Powdercoat is reasonably durable and doesn't mark as easy as paint but when it chips off it'll be more difficult to touch up.

Also, poor quality powder-coating can cause the metal to rust underneath the paint when it chips too.

If it's a good job, it'll turn out nice but it won't last indefinitely if you use the landy as it should be :)

Cost wise, 2-400 quid I'd imagine depending on the cage. It's usually not crazy expensive to do a few bits or something thats a reasonable size. Doing one or two small bits can be very expensive though for what they're worth as the paint and machine and all that still has to be setup.
