Possible to put a double din head unit in a freelander 1?

I know the freelander 2 is easy to put a double din head unit in but I don't know about the freelander 1? Possible without hard work/ fabrication.

If you have a facelift it will take one, pre facelift you have no chance, indeed without serious dash rejigging. Best solution is to go for a pop up screen style single unit.

Use to have a single din pop out screen it was amazing until my wife found a way to break it. Will be getting another once the freelander stops breaking which is clearly going to be never lol

Any pictures of the flip out ones? Can the screen tilt be adjusted?

First link on google. You can get various types including pc based ones too. Most good ones can adjust the tilt setting

I keep looking at those type of head units. Just not sure- usually you would pay £££ for all those features on something half decent. The age old problem of my cheap buy twice...
