Hi

I have an issue coming from the o/s front wheel area giving the following symptoms

When turning the wheel I get a squeaking sound and when I set off or turn sharply I sometimes get a faint metallic clunk sound.

Could this be an issue with the hub assembly?

Thanks

Great thanks, could that also throw up the occasional abs fault?

Normally ABS faults may occur if the wheel bearing is worn. Lift the front and see if you can detect any movement or roughness in the hub. The metallic clicking maybe the reluctor ring hitting the sensor. Normally it would push the sensor out but if that is seized then it won't, just wear it away slowly. So it maybe the hub as you first thought. Or a combination of both.
