Hi everyone Im thinking about getting a Q plated SU fed 3.5 with 5 speed manual box Range Rover cut down chassis with defender 90 body 2" suspension lift and internal roll cage. Flux has quoted me £180 fully comp that sounds good to me. My question is would this be a sensible buy to be used as a daily driver as well as for pay&play fun and a bit of sensible green laning. Just wanted a bit of feedback from experianced Land Rover guys as Im only a novice cheers Rex.

Thanks that backs up info from other sources. Shant go down the v8 road now recon a 200 tdi might be the best route with a few basic off road mods :)

Having owned several v8's anything not fuel injected is prehistoric pile of **** power wise.
A nice 200tdi or 300tdi will perform reasonably and not bankrupt you!
