Hi All,
I thought I would give you all a laugh at the bosses wife's miss fortune, this morning in the snow she was taking the kids to school in their Cayenne (60grand 4x4) and ended up putting it in a ditch and diging it in right up to the floor pan, not much damage to the car and all inside were ok but who do they call to pull it out me in my 1998 Discovery (5 Grand )Tdi and even the boss said not much of a 4x4 is it as he looked at the Cayenne.
So any one thinking of buying a Cayenne save youself 55 grand and buy an old Tdi.

Trevor.

One of my parteners has a Cayenne.

Its a superb of kit and ****es all over my series 3 Disco, Its better built and designed than any product from the Land Rover stable.

I think the real problem with your bosses Cayenne is its driver not the car, You can drive any car and ditch it, wether its a Defender 90 or a 60K Cayenne !!!!!:D

think some peeps have a misconception that a 4x4 will let you do anything, and itll stick to the road like glue! (ala audi S1 c1980).
sadly as your bosses wife found out, this is not the case.

Yeeeeeah, buuuuut Rets, even if it is a fantastic piece o' kit & capable off road, ain't it a waste as 0.0000000000001% of them 'll probably never drive up anything more challenging than a gravel drive?

S'a bit like launching the space shuttle to take you to Marbella.

& ain't never seen one @ a 'pay & play'! ;)

it aint going to go anywhere with them tires on anyway...

... Marcus, you got your snow then. there was nothing in bristol this morn but when i travelled to basingstoke this morn i was working in 3inches of snow! damn cold it was too.

Nah - you're missing the point. A mouldy old Tdi may be capable off road, but don't make the missus as moist as a Cayenne Turbo.:D Take it from one who knows.;)

Since I'm off work was all up for trolling off to a little lane I know & by the time I had me kecks on it was all but gone.

Musta bin less on the south east side. Nice while it lasted mind. :D

Ahhh, that's the point, 55k so's you can empty knickers?

Wouldn't you be better off developing a little charm, or spend your hard earned on a good offroader & spend the 50k change on whores? :p

5000 hors at 10 quid per head eh?
sounds like better fun than replacing x members.

for that sort of money, i dont want an ugly one.
had one o them in wales once. all sort of pale and wooly.
