Iv got to do poly bushes on one soon, how hard are the bushes at the top of the rear a frame to do? They are my only worry!

sometimes easier to remove 3x m10 nuts bolts holding brackets to chassis with 17mm socket

Ahh, didn't realise they were on brackets... This is a particularly rusty landy aswell.. A weeks soaking in free it is on order!

O those with polybushes fitted, how noticeable is the difference between this and standard parts?

i dont think so in the ones i see,genuine last longer,but poly easier to change

poly are cheap and easy to fit but would go oe bushes given the choice.
Original bushes lasts better for us all round except on the stab arm ball joint, thats where we use blue polly bushes.
The polly ones dont have a metal sleave in general and we find that sand gets in between the poly bush and the metal its pressed into and then eats them for breakfast. But hey, our vehicles do 85% off road in conditions that most will stay away from, have heard that they give a better ride on tar though....

I got a full set from Paddocks, I think they were about 50 pounds.I got the yellow ones which I believe were the soft ones and closer to the origianl rubber ones. I got those as they were supposed to be easier to fit. Hate to think what the original black rubber ones would be like to fit, these were difficult enough.
When I first went green laining with them I stopped to check the tyres. I thought I was driving with a flat was they were a bit harder than the rubber ones and gave you the impression you have a flat. I have got used to them now and they seem fine. I have done two years and 20.000 miles on them and they are in great shape

Hmmm food for thought! I'm doing polybushes for someone else, just not sure what to do with mine,OE I think..
