I've been looking at poly bushes for my 98 Defender, but they seem to vary massively in price and there are quite a few different manufacturers out there. Can anyone give me any feedback on which ones to either go for or avoid? Is it worth going poly bush at all?

Go genuine, polybushes are OK but quality varies dependant on manufacturer and even the best ones can wear prematurely as they have very little give in them and in turn make themselves a high stress component

Don't go for polybush there just expsensive ****e. Instead of normal bushes wearing that they are designed and there to do the polybushes last for ever and instead just wear the part out instead i.e radius arms or trailing arms etc..
As for what to get instead. Have a search about there will no doubt be previous threads on this..

OEM all the way with bushes. They may be a bit of a sod to change, but you won't have to worry about them again for a very long time.

i fitted the cheapo britpart ones, full car for around £60, had to change them again a year later, i bought genuine polybush this time the orange ones, 3 times the price but so far have been good with no probs to report

How about those Superpro bushes? Any experiences to share? They're a bit dearer than the standard poly ones but some people seem to find them better.
