Had a search and couldn't find anything. Discovery 4 3.0 diesel. Mate of mine pulled into a carpark and was engulfed in what he said was white smoke coming out of the exhaust it then went into reduced power mode. He phoned the recovery company and they just took it to he's home, he started it up after a while and it seemed OK so went for a spin and now seems fine. He's got a long journey in a few days and panicking it's going to break down. Any ideas?

No idea about the white smoke, no doubt somebody will be along shortly to explain any religious connotations.
Land Rovers know when you're planning a long trip and in the lead-up to it they will start behaving oddly, dropping fluids, making strange noises, mixing fluids which should never mix and adopting some wierd handling characteristics.
