Hello guys,

im having a problems with my 99 Disco TD5, i was driving down a normal road and my ABS, traction control AND downhill descent warning lights all came on at the same time. i think it must be a problem with the ABS as i think all these devices work from the ABS. is this correct??? i have checked all the fuses, and relays. had a look underneath but dont really know what im looking for on these things. i have also been told that low brake pads could cause these lights to illuminate, but im not sure. they look ok to me. if anybody knows or has had this happen to them i would be very gratfull for advice and indstuctions. the disco is still covered by warrenty, but i dont want to take it back to the garage if its something simple.

thanks in advance guys

Taff

The problem is often referred to as 'The Three Amigos' & if you do a search on the net you will find its a common issue on Discos.
As its under warranty take it back.

i had this happen to me just a few weeks back. have not got it fixed yet but when my partner took wheel of car he noticed the sensor that goes to the front passenger wheel had a nick in it and all the wires are exposed. not sure yet if that IS the problem but a new sensor costs about £60 + VAT. if hub needs replacing as well as sensor you looking at around £250 for both hub and sensor so i would take it back to garage if it still under warrenty.
