At that price wouldn't a length of feeler stock be cheaper? Assuming
you only want it in one size for one job.

Real Steel sell it as well, that's where I get mine from.

It does jobs shim stock can't possibly manage - like gauge the exact
radial clearance in big end bearing caps etc.

quite. There are a few jobs you can't do without it. I have to admit, I
tend not to do them on account of it.
