Hi all,

I bought my Defender with a plastic rear windscreen and Iv only got and cracked it. Its being held together with gaffer tape at the moment so I need to replace it.
I just need to know if a placky rear windscreen is legit and also whats your thoughts on it? I know its not very safe but i dont have much cash (i know, always the case)

Cheers!!

There is no problem from a roadworthyness pov , perfectly legal, and if you have 2 exterior mirrors (1 either side) you dont even have to be able to see thru it !

if you weren't so far away i have a door that i could have stripped the window out of that would have got you out of trouble (its from a series 3 but i'm pretty sure they are the same as defender
