I’ve got some interior trim window panels that are gray, need a bit of a repair and a respray in black.

Do you guys have a spray pint that’s suitable for plastic trim that won’t flake off with the natural flex of the item?

My father in law used to own a body shop and painted plastic regularly. He said the primer is the most important thing when painting any plastic. That’s as much as I know :D

There are various trim paints sold for use on plastic bumpers. Quick google/ebay comes up with a fair number.
Not done any interior car trim for years, but used to use SEM branded trim paint.
And meegos' FIL is correct, esp when doing repairs to colour coded plastic bumpers.

Thanks for the info. Is there a specific primer to use?

When I done my rebuild, I painted the light surrounds and grill gloss black. I used 2K paint, but primer was plastic primer from Halfords. It worked well. No problems with paint chipping or flaking off. Not sure it’s the right thing for the door trim. Are they plastic or vinyl?
