rope, not TV.......just had a crackin T-max 12000df fitted with the steel cable, was thinking of fitting the plasma stuff.....can it be done.....any good...? what da fink

Dunnomuch about it but don't reckon it'll tear yer pinkies to shreds as it gets older.

plasma rope is brilliant but you need to change the fairlead as well

what to.....fink me maybe get this new one a bit rusty first then...anyone use a T-max

practice with the wire rope first. you be amazed at how easy it is the retreave the wire rope back onto the crum wrong and for it to all get snagged. when you have dozens of flat spots in your wire then upgrade to plasma.

its lighter and doesnt kink but it doesnt like mud/oil etc. your going to have to empty the drum and wash the plsma everytime you dunk it in the mud though. or it will rot... not what you want on rope costing £160!

you need an alu fairlead instead of the rollers too, as pointed out by yella.

by the time your thinking of upgrading though, your Tmax will prob stop working

Yup, plasma is the way to go, you will be amazed how heavy the wire is when you remove it.

Id go for plasma everytime. It aint gona take a leg off if it snaps.
It floats on water which is sometimes useful too.
