have some pit marks on my swivel joints thought of using some steel-set epoxy glue to fix them?

I used plastic padding metal,cleaned the ball's of with acetone first,filled the pits rubbed them with 1200 wet and dry'jobs a good un.

Only change them when they start leaking oil is my philosophy.
