Heh, don't worry, it's more to do with off-road bikes being sold in
that kind of state that gets me, you'd think that sellers might try to
help keep the market for the bikes buoyant by avoiding them being so
damned loud in the first place. It's hard not to be anti-social on
ear-breakingly loud bikes.
As for the bobble-hats, just riding it's enough, I was out on a photo
trip some time ago and a pair of bobbles walked past, at the same time
as a motorcyclist was coming the other way. He slowed down to a
gentle jogging pace but they were still making signs at him to slow
down. Lane was wide enough for two landies side-by-side.

No I don't, and I don't tell them every time I'm going to drive across
their drive (access to the back of my house is via a RoW over their
driveway), considering that at 7:00 AM *every* morning my neighbour is
out sweeping the damned drive, I'm surprised they've not moaned yet!
It's not mucky, but every morning, 7:00 AM on the dot, sweep sweep.
Quite scary actually.
