picked up a new defender with a 500 mile round trip..

Left the house (coventry) for spalding at 8am to see a G plate defender 90. Defender was a bag of crap that needed a rear axel as it was about to fall of lol, it had so much play and banged and rattled. Plus it was guttless. Left spalding for Liverpool. Got there and he wouldnt let me test drive it let alone him drive it plus it had a bad oil leak, air box not piped up (well worth the 3 hour drive, NOT!!!)
Left there for milton Keynes where i finaly found a mint J plate 90 with loads of extras and quick as f*$k. Total of over 500 miles today.

ive got a nice tidy 90 defender, E reg, had tons of work done to it, including all new doors, county cloth seats, later type smooth roof, rear CSW sliding windows, fold away rear seats same trim as front seats, new rear cross member, both axles over hauled, all new lights, rear lights moved to same position as series lights, new bulkhead and a whole load of other new parts replaced. full metallic epsom green respray, ive just got a bit more to do to it and its going up for sale.

i was going to keep it myself but ive set my heart on another vehicle and its not a land rover
