Piccies of my '97 Disco....

Bought this about 6 months ago as a standard road going '97 Disco 1 TDi (corrected) with the intention of turning into a serious off-roader and expedition vehicle, have done the following:

Rear - Tubular bumper, side exhaust, tank guard, dif protector, rear light clusters with indicator/running lights,
Front - LED light bar, snorkel, tubular winch bumper & winch, dif guard, steering guard, headlight mountings, indicators
Running - 2" terrafirma suspension lift, 3" body lift, insar dakar tyres,
Misc - Battery, liquid tape electric joint sealing, Hi-Lift, Exmoor tan seat covers,

To do - Dislocation cones (see my last thread ), spare wheel Hi-Lift mount (on order),

I'm no mechanic but other than the lifts I have managed to do everything myself and have thoroughly enjoyed working on her.

Getting in plenty of green-laning/day events and looking at some Welsh weekend expeditions next.....

How can it be a Disco 1 '97 but be a TD5, have you changed the engine in it?
