The MOD were cracking injector lines with bonnet mounted spares, hence why they mount them on the side.

Any body know if I can get a swing a way carrier that does not need the tailgate to be converted from drop down to swing? As I want to keep the drop down tailgate.

I have one of these. Not yet got it fitted but seems to be pretty good quality

Cheers, I was looking at those, but I did not know if they were suitable for a drop down tailgate or not, as the advert doesn't say.

They are designed to work with a drop down tailgate They mount to the rear tub/chassis on the RH side and are held shut by the LH antiluce catch that holds your tailgate closed.

To open you undo the LH antiluce catch and swing the wheel carrier out then undo the RH catch and drop the tailgate down.

There is a wire strap that stops the wheel carrier opening too far and hitting the neighbours house/car/nosey child
