Sorry guys, usual probably basic question for you, but that's why I come here :)
My 90 has got a 2.5 petrol retro-fitted into it to avoid the good old LEZ. My problem is, that in the Summer, (don't laugh), when it's in traffic and getting hot it either cuts out or when I turn it off I have to leave it 45 mins before it will start again!. Wasn't great in the middle of an MOT I can tell you. People have suggested that the fuel is vaporizing before it gets where it needs to go? If that is the case, any solutions?

what radiator and fan setup is it running?

Flush your rad and change your stat.

Presumably the fan is fixed blades?

Where do your fuel pipes run? It might be worth re-routing it.
