Went to the off road course in my classic with the family and was not impressed.:(
No challenge, even with side steps, standard suspension and road tyres.
I think they need to spice it up or I won't bother next year.

The guy camping next to me went bonnet deep in mud+water with no snorkel, engine sucked in water seized and bent a conrod, £2000 engine destroyed, There must have been different levels of the off road course?

Different levels of driving skills more like.:)
Did see mostly 90 110 with big tyres and snorkels and jacked up supension, a bit over the top:D
A bog stanard Land rover would do just fine
Driver skills are more important than all the bolt on bollocks.

Shame MudMachines have fallen out with each other and appear to have dispanded - they were meant to be running the arena again, but fell out a few weeks ago and no one turned up :/

yep a bit of entertainment on sat night wouldnt have been amiss, think was parked near you dave 90, black d2 with roof tent and white 110 with trailer tent

Did you go with a club or just pay to camp?

If you paid to camp - next year find a few mates, set up a 'club' and apply for a ptich - its free to camp + includes free entry!

Didn't do the off-road course due to lack of off-roading spec vehicle :( (stupid mot)

I thought Peterborough was rubbish in general!!
It was all car booty stuff, the crap you throw away.
Billing is much better.
I wont be going peterbrough again!!! :-(

We went this year, frist time for a landy show and picked up a few bits... ok as it goes, but the Raptor Dash man needs to sort out his card payment system!!!

thought the auto jumble was good, plenty of defender bits for a change but the rest of the show was a bit of a let down.

our patch was right out of the way, pretty much with the clubs and behind the bearmach stand. There was no entertainment on the night and the music didnt start until the bar closed (not sure who that was but they were playing until at least 5am).

Billing was soo much better

my first time at Peterbro, went hoping to find a club based near Derby. First time off road too. Really enjoyed and did o.k, are there more challenging venues?

Yeah I see lots of doors and stuff for fenders. Defently made a change.

Did you find one... cus i was there with my club and we are based in Derbyshire!

Drop me a PM if you want more details :)

Bobbler - was just round the corner from your stand... you were slightly out of it considering one or two of the clubs were right in the middle of it. Did you sell much?

Hmmm not 100% sure, were you closer to the sheds, or closer to that annoying factory making loads of noise at night, i was in the middle of that pitch area, next to the poor guy who had his 90 towed away

Sales werent too bad considering. You should have come round and introduced yourself Mike (i was the one in the red jacket).

Possibly could have done better with a better pitch but only took a couple of tank guards back :)

Yeh... i intended to, till the point that all i could remember was someone on landyzone had the rock sliders link in their signature and that was a bout all...

Will do better next year, i seem to attend most of the shows (though not Billing, i got my timing wrong and have a wedding that day... as its my own i don't think i can miss it for a landy show )

I took the tribe and i thought what a rip off , tenner tops would have been enough
We had a big list of items that you could pick up at any autojumble and got none of them couldnt even pick waxoyl up ,
Off road site needs to closer as a spectator point of view :(
