Perkins Prime Radiator Cap Pressure.

Hi all anyone know what pressure rating the rad cap should be with the prima engine fitted? It currently has a 9lb pressure rating which is, I've been told, quite low although standard for the original engines. Only reason for asking is she has been pushing water into the expansion tank and in effect emptying it's self when being pushed off road. Seems ok on the hard stuff. Thanks in advance.
