You sound like the perfect woman.......Into LANDYs and likes working on them aswell. A rare breed.
Cant see any reasons why you cant change the accelerator pedal rubber aswell.
My 1988 90 can wander as well, nothing major and you get used to it,i sometimes think the Landy drives me,not the other way round.
Just carry on enjoying....

My 90 tends to wander in direct relationship to the amount of drink consumed. But just to be on the safe side check out all track rod ends for wear and replace as needed . Then get the steering Tracked should cure it . otherwise check wheel bearings and Railko bearings.

otherwise check out tyres for uneven wear.otherwise check out shockers.otherwise checkout suspension bushes ( be aware these may explode or gas you). otherwise check out the play in the steering box. otherwise etc etc etc

as for your accelerator you don't really want to replace the rubber as its better that your foot slides up and down on the accelerater rather than stick , if your foot sticks you would then have to literally take your foot off and on the accelerater pedal which is a completely different way of driving than you normally would and you wouldn't have such a fine control as you normally would, if i were you i wouldn't bother changing this;)
