- - PDWA Valve - -

Hi. I am in the middle of restoring my landy, However I purchased my landy having to purchase new brake lines etc. I can order everything with the exception of a 5 port PDWA valve (splitter / shuttle valve). Unfortunately paddocks do not stock this hard to find item. After browsing the internet, I can find nothing. I am just leaving this message on the offchance that someone may have a working spare. If I cannot find a 5 port PDWA valve, would it be possible to convert my dual line system to a single line by plugging one of the holes below the master cylinder? Although this would reduce the affectivness of my brakes (I have a lwb) .

i think you be better just using a dual system without the valve that way you'd still have the advantages of a dual system.i.e if one fails you still have some brakes. with a single system, if one fails ......well.;

Try the Land Rover orphanage or LR series on ebay. Failing that pm me and I can put you in touch with a series breaker.

Thanks very much, I have now sourced the valve after phoning many local breakers. I got one from the breakers at john Craddocks. Thanks anyway.
