I took a chance this year and decided to leave the egr blank in place on my TD4 2006.
I had an awful feeling that it would fail on something. Just a feeling, no evidence of anything except the blank.
To my surprise, it passed with just two advisories.
Sadly, it is looking like I may be saying bye-bye to it soon (ish) as I am either getting voluntary redundancy or taking early retirement and won't be able to justify having two cars. The other car is an automatic and the wife only has a licence for automatics.
