i changed the battery recently and the remote locking stopped for the passenger door, i have now only noticed the electric window,mirror wont work from the passenger door neither will the window from the drivers door switch either.tried the earth terminal on the battery it seems tight enough any answers ?

Left door outstation or just a corrupted signal on re-connection. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and re-connecting it. How old is this car? Obviously not a P38 if the window switches are on the doors.

Not so up on that era but it's bound to be something silly. Is there a single fuse that isolates each door or has a wire broken in the loom to the door? Try operating something while tweaking it where it goes in the door near the hinges. Failing that it'll need a plug in to test book to check the outstation.
