Disco 2 PAS feed pipe leak

Another LR design special... The feed from the PAS reservoir to the pump loops under the sump and it rubs against the bottom edge. At 14 years old the foam insulation around the pipe has finally fallen off and the pipe has rubbed until a small hole has appeared. Because it's the feed to the PAS pump it's got a negative pressure in it when the engine runs and only drips when it's standing with the engine off. I got to it on the driveway without having to take any other bits off and managed to wrap duck tape around the pipe and then cushion it from further damage with pipe insulation tightly secured with cable ties. So far, so good! Anyone else had this? How did you fix it?
