I have a 1994 Defender 300TDi and I need the following parts:

A) Both engine mounts
B) Both gearbox mounts
C) The spring/spring & plate?? for the R380 gear lever
D) The oil seals for the output of the transfer box

Are these right .....

A) *PAIR* L/Rover Defender/Discovery R/Rover 300TDI Engine Mount NTC9416 [14373x2] | eBay

B) ANR3200 & ANR3201--- LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90/110/130/DISCOVERY1 300TDI GEARBOX MOUNTS ANR3200/ANR3201 | eBay

C) DA1253 Land Rover Discovery 1 R380 Gear Box Lever Bias Plate & Spring Kit | eBay

This does state Discovery 1 which I know uses a different gear lever setup but can't find a Defender one...

D) 2 X LAND ROVER DEFENDER LT230 TRANSFER BOX O/P OIL SEAL CORTECO. PART- FTC4939G | eBay

Thanks.

dont think a fender r380 has a bias plate and it has one big spring iirc

i'd avoid cheap engine mounts unless you like vibrations and rattles :)

not sure. why not use a proper parts supplier btw?

island-4x4 or lrdirect get my vote :)

It's just a bit crap moving from 1st to 2nd. I've just found a video on how to adjust it and now think it is unlikely that the spring is faulty and it just needs adjustment (or the box is worn).

As for the mounts I'll probably nip into Crooks Brothers tomorrow whilst I'm out but just thought it was easier to order off ebay. Saying that if I pop in there I know I'll get the right bits.

As for the transfer box seals I just thought I'd swap them to possibly save having to re-condition the entire box. The bearings etc are all ok and the only issue is a leak.

Just a note on the engine mounts, the Bearmach ones are supposed to be good, so I've ordered 4 of them and replaced the tbox/gearbox but need to get around to doing the engine ones.

The torque setting is wrong for the engine mounts in the Haynes book of lies. Can't remember what they are but I know from experience that if you torque them to what it says, they snap and when that happens you cry, because it takes a lot of sweat to get them in place :)

Thanks, I can't find my Haynes manual at the moment anyway :)
