Parts or Scrap?

Hi,

I have a very much loved 2008 RR Vogue SE in Tonga Green with 183k, it has served me well but I believe it requires a rear subframe. It has all the usual aches and pains including a rusty tailgate and rear arches. Engine runs fine and it had the belts and alternator changed prior to the subframe issue. I was looking for guidance, ebay for parts? Scrap? and/or any RR breakers that may be interested? I have a frustrated partner who wants the drive back.

I’m not sure on prices but someone will know. If it’s much loved presuming it’s not atrocious under there subframe not a nice job but not a game over scenario.

Fix it.

If you like the car, get a subframe and do it or get it done. I'm a firm believer in better the devil you know. Look seriously at the cost of this repair against the cost of changing the car, what will you get for yours? What faults will you buy and have to fix on another, up to 3 weeks road tax possibly lost, value of your time looking for another car and the inevitable several disappointments before you find the right one etc. Once you add that lot up, the repair may not actually be that expensive and you'll have saved one especially as you've recently invested in the other end of it.
