Parts Advice NEEDED!!!

hi guys im in south wales and having trouble finding any breakers to try for parts i have however come across this site www.paddockspares.com there prices seem too good to be true though so wondering if anyone has had any experience with this site/company.

the part in question atm is a Transducer for the speedo
now assuming im looking at the rite parts i've noticed the following

it seems to be about
£80-£110 randomly around online
£35-£80ish ebay
£26 on paddocks

as i say seems to good to be true any input is welcomed

Price differences of that magnitude are usually between Genuine LR spares, OEM and pattern in order of decreasing cost.

Where in South Wales are you? And what land rover do you need parts for?

It's not unknown to have a speed sensor fail.

Aberdare here, looking for 1998 disco parts, new and second hand parts i know i need rite now are the speed sensor that go's in the transfer box

parts i may be needing,
front window mech (top rail the window sits on has fallen off)
maybe rear window motors (i will be checking them with a power bank later)
window center control panel switches (also planning on trying to check these later)
window lift module (again something i need to check later but know to expect to need)
and finally for now some mighty good advice/help with my passenger door latch or a new passenger door lol

basically im looking for a scrap yard or breakers i can have in mind for when the time comes and then some company's to keep in mind for the bits where only new will do

Just put a new winder mechanism in my passenger front door. It was a Bearmach item and I was pleased how well it compared with the old one. Went in no problem and works fine just as it should. Rather cheap on ebay especially after seeing the price of a genuine one

Paddock have been around for years.
I have used them and never had a problem but others have and been sent wrong parts or no info when not in stock.

Same here, I've used em and never had any problems with any of their stuff.

thanks guys i'll get the old part off see if i can match up the part numbers and what not and get to ordering, will be nice to have a working speedo and not have to use my phone lol

thanks for the reply lyndon, i've since changed the part however it didnt fix my problem. i have though narrowed it down to the plug on the transducer being bad (hoping for this trying to source a plug to swap it with) or the cables running over the back of the transfer box. the problem i am facing rite now is i dont know where the wires run so its a bit of a pain to try replace wires when i dont know where they are going

both numbers noted but for now im going to cross my fingers and hope a plug will sort it. could do with someone who knows there stuff and dont cost a fortune to "look" at my disco and let me know what bits need doing now and what bits need doing soon lol
