part number?

Part No MHK101060L. I assume you mean the sensor that fits into the inlet manifold (map sensor) and not the turbo boost solenoid. We have a cranked spanner that we use to change them. We also have had some success in cleaning them with contact cleaner.

are you sure you mean boost pressure sensor? MAP sensor MHK101060L

not boost pressure solenoid ??? STC498

yes they are the same and i think that landrover call it a multi injection pressure sensor, just to make sure that we have the right part the boost sensor is located on the inlet manifold

multi injection pressure sensor, boost pressure sensor, map sensor, feck me what ave i started, what do i order, ..how much are they?
thanks for all the help mates, think i'll wang her in fer MOT an see what happens. all started after a recent blown turbo hose, usual black smoke symptoms, seems to be slightly smoking on hard acceleration now though.
again thanx fer all yer help.......

sorry guys it is for a TD4, map sensor..boost pressure sensor..are they the same part?.......

Same part, not sure if it'll help your fault though. black smoke = too much fuel or not enough air. not really anything to do with boost/manifold pressure, more likely still got a slight air leak somewhere.
