Parking light problem

On mine ninety the left parking light is not working so is the rear, however the rear is working when i step on the brake. At first i thought the bulds burn out, but this is not the case.
Does anyone have any ideas what happen here?

check to see you have the correct bulb, twin filament at the back, might be a single filament crossing the two terminals

Could also be a poor earth, if you unscrew the light fitting from the body and see if the screw is corroded, fitting a new screw might do the trick
