My steering wheel needs painting. It leaves a lot of black s*** on my hands if it has not been used for a week or so.
What paint should I use? Is it a "new" wheel?

PIKFLY try taking it of and giving it a good scrub with soapy water ect,,it worked for mine for a while, but when it gets damp it does it again ,,,i was told varnish it dunno wether it works tho,i just put a steering wheel glove on my old series ,kill two birds with one stone type of thing,ie dont slip, warmer, looks better, dont get a mucky mark on your strides, mind you if you drive a series your obviously not bothered @ looks same as me ,,ha ha......dave

Cheers Big Dave. I didn't really want to go down the route of a glove but perhaps it's the best way.You are dead right, s*** all over new strides last week finally convinced me I have to do something.

if ya find a saddler??? one o them blokes that fixes saddles (i know they have a proper name) or a good furniture repairer they can leather bind your wheel and they won't charge you a fortune, theres also the added bonus that these folks don't have a life as we know it so are usually perfectionists;)
