i'm sure this has been done on here somewhere, so feel free to give me abuse and then point me in the right direction.

My rear crossmember is in good nick (honest!!), 'owever it does hav a few rusty 'stains' on it, in the outline of various things which have spent time screwed onto the crossmember i.e trailer plug, step fittings etc.

I would like to paint it all nice and black again but dont know wat is recommended. any ideas?

I stupidly brought this up, and she recommended SHOE POLISH!!!

and now shes locked under the stairs.

shurly you need some of that coloured liquid stuff that yer spread over the metal bits and if yer leave it a while it'll go hard an be stuck on, cant quite remember the name o it though....... comes in tins

you'll need somethin to spred it with to, i used the dugs tail last time........ :D

i can highly recommend that you dont use that zinc 182 stuff as under coat tho, used that and industrial plant paint (in j.c.b. yellow) on me trailer and it's scratched to buggery already! :(

'ow bout painting the end of the exhaust?tis lookin a lil rusty, any ideas on wat could be used on exhausts?
