I'm wanting to paint some of my auxiliaries like my power steering pump as it's looking a bit worn, what kind of paint do I need to use for this , I got black NATO paint and black hammerite, are these ok or should I buy some special enamal paint for them.

Hammerite, brushing cellulose, even an oil-based gloss would work.
