thanx lads, got my eye on a steerin guard to complete the front end now, although i do fancy one of those black kbx grills aswell but at 200 quid for a bit of plastic its a bit stupid. actually cant decide between a big terrafirma tubular bumper or the kbx grille. we will see.

i won the steering guard on ebay for cheap, gona move my license plate to the middle of the bumper, actualy on it. and put off the kbx grill or bumper idea for a bit until i decide what i want.

today i rubbed down the whole car with 240 grit, did another coat of black on the roof, finished off all the black detail (hinges etc), spray etch and painted the sill chequerplate, and bought some sythetic thinners.

tomorrow its time to mask off everything except the brown, quick wipe over with panel wipe/degreaser then paint on my final coat, thinned down, with a foam roller. this should hopefully give me the level satin look i want, without any glossy areas.

then in a couple days ive decided im gona buy some spray cans and do a digital camo paintjob on it, using the desert scheme like so.

did the final coat today with a thinned down layer, came out much better, and upto now more level looking but not perfect, however as it dries ill be able to tell better.

painted the sill chequerplates so theyre ready to go on again aswell.

its masked up at the moment so i might take the opportunity to get this camo scheme done tomorrow evening, or i might rock the brown on its own for a little while. not decided yet.

i desperately need the cash for the extended arches and cooper st tyres now though to complete the look. AARGH

been playin around with the colours for the camo. bear in mind that the most part has to be the brown, so ive come up with 3 schemes. not decided yet, also theres the original desert scheme that the pandur was painted in, in the previous post.
