My defender is a 1996 model. Does anyone know what kind of paint LR used then. It is rioja red metallic

think they used a rioja red metallic as one of the paints...

paint code for rioja red is 601 it should be on your vin plate

Asking the question cos I had no idea if it would be 2k, cellulose, other solvent based paint, etc. Apparently you don't get metallic in 2k.
