not sure if this is the right section but ill try it anyway, used buckley brothers for parts over the past 3 years and they have cocked my order up a few times but they have got a decent courier now (dpd ) fast and text when coming, but last week i ordered some stuff and this included two front lwb flexy brake pipes and stipulated on the phone that they must have a flare on each end, and what did i get? pipes with only one flare, so i have to ring them again and they will send out to more but asked me to send the others back wich will cost me postage, i feel that this has finally put the nail in the coffin for buckley bros, but are paddocks any better? have also spent a lot of money there but mostly had a trip there and picked up a shipping load

Did you explain that you where a good customer to them and that you were not very happy with the last delivery ect

There reaction to your complaint with out loosing your head with them should help make your mind up,
If you get a poor response and have to pay for the bits being sent back, then you can tell um how many beans make five :D

Have used Paddocks many times with no problems, however persoanlly prefer LRDirect in terms of range (pattern to LR Original), delivery cost (via DPD) and ease to deal with

If they have sent you the wrong item then they have to stump up the postage costs to send it back, on another note I've been using Brit Car for a while now and they are great. Never had a problem and they use DPD also which is also a bonus for any company :)

Used Paddocks a lot and noticed lately they have upped their game on the service front, by emailing on time when order dispatched, calling me when it will be delayed due to a screw up, and also sorting items on next day delivery at no charge when theres been any issues or delays.
Prices seem pretty good too. :)

Buckley brothers is one of those places where you feel like it's 1968

It's not far from Blackburn so when i'm up there I drop in if there's anything I need

You ask for something, there's a pause then he dives into a heap of boxes and comes out with it

Never used the mail order but if your picture of BB is a high tech computerised warehouse with automatic picking you should be thinking more pentium4 and a shovel
