Just a thought before buying full set of bags:

Has anyone changed their P38A to coils ...... and if so what's the verdict?

Also, anyone think it is a bad idea to change?

As I say, just looking at all the possibilities before I start spending money.

I just bought a 98 Range that came with the suspension converted to coil springs. I was reading about how expensive it is to replace any of the many components to the EAS and am glad that is one less thing I need to worry about. It rides about the same as any other's I test drove with EAS. The springs or shocks could be a little stiffer as I have hit the bump stops a time or two when I've hit a big pothole or something. I've seen descent spring conversion kits that run about as much as any single piece of the complex EAS puzzle.

I would keep the EAS. Its great for towing (stays level) is ultra smooth + handles better at speed and push the button and its an awesome off roader. You have to look after it and remember it has wear + tear parts like on any suspension set up. By converting to coils you are paying to remove the cars best feature imo

I must admit that I have come to the same conclusion about keeping eas. Any idea how long the bags should last?
