p38 wobble

Hi i have a wobble/vibration between 50 + 70 mph ive had the wheels checked and there balanced but it sometimes does not happen then other times it it stops at 60 , the problem makes the passenger seat wobble like mad when know ones sitting in it although the passenger can feel it,big smile on my wifes face, has anyone any suggestions what it is.

don't start me. i've got a vibration (i would call it a rumble) at that speed. missus moans like mad and has to lift her feet of the floor. i am about to start replacing things. i reckon it will be one of the following:

1. diff/gearbox oil level
2. knackered vcu
3. worn/stressed ujs or propshaft
4. worn cvs, bushes or rod ends on front axle
5. worn steering gear

welcome any ideas on where to start...

Hi , i hope its the track rods because on my last mot ,june 08, they said that they will need replacing for the next mot so i"ll do that when i come back of hols, hope it solves it. thanks big jock

i have the same problem,but ive just renewed the 2 front u/j,s and it has reduced some of the vibration.
