well not just a p38 any vehicle, why do they wait til the coldest time of the year to get faults,i am using my p38 but it is thirsty it has a strong smell of diesel under the bonnet,no obvious leaks, but i suspect pipes off the injectors leaking,or leaking injectors, but f*** it,i shall put up with it til it gets warmer, weather that is,not a fire, although sometimes that wouldn't be so bad!

Hi

would keep you warm this winter but seriously check the fuel return pipes under the inlet manifold just done mine last week as they were all hard and weaping less than a qiud, when i replaced the glow plugs now the beast is happy again

Tony:)

cheers for that,i shall still wait for it to warm up before i investigate further, then i shall take out the injectors and get them serviced, and give the fuel system a once over from pump to tank.
