P38 Very flat

Hi Iv got a 2.5 dse manual P38, was driving home last night it became very flat no noises turbo can be heard working but wouldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding feels like the turbo is FUBAR but its fine anyone got any ideas im baffled lol
