p38 v8 4.0l poping then loses power

Can Any Body Help Ive Got A 2000 P38 V8 4.0 Autobiography It Starts Fine No Problems But Then A Couple O Fmins After Pulling Away It Pops A Couple Of Times Not Very Loud But Then I Lose Power But Dont Stall I Can Put My Foot To The Floor And Nothing Happens No Revs Or Nothing Then After A Few Secs I Tpics Up And Were Off Any Ideas Anyone
